What platforms do you offer sessions on?

We offer telephone, video, and in-person sessions.

Depending on the counsellor you choose to see, we have 30, 50, or 80-minute sessions.

Please refer to our Therapeutic Approaches page.

We use a customized approach for every client, which may include one therapy or a mix of modalities. This process makes it client-oriented and is inclusive of your input of what you feel like you need at this time.

It really depends on the goals that you come to therapy with. It may be a one-time Solution-Based Therapy session, or it can be an ongoing process taking weeks, months, or longer. We recommend that you work with your practitioner to establish a timeline with reasonable expectations.

Client confidentiality is extremely important to us, everything you share will remain between you, your practitioner, and the clinic. With that said, we are bound legally to break confidentiality for if there is imminent and immediate harm indicated to yourself, someone else, or a child, or in the uncommon situation when disclosure is called upon by a court judge; no other exceptions.

Diagnostics are out of our scope of practice. While we may be able to offer insight on your symptoms, all diagnostic assessments, diagnosis, and medication prescription are done by medical doctors (i.e. Family Physicians or Psychiatrists).

We offer affordable rates well within the industry standard, as defined by the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Please see our booking page for the most updated rates.

Our services are covered by most extended health insurances. To ensure you are covered, please check that you are covered for services with the designation of your chosen counsellor (i.e. Registered Social Workers, Registered Clinical Counsellors).

As with most counselling clinics, all of our clients pay upfront and are responsible to submit their receipt for reimbursement.

Some of our counsellors do. Please inquire during your free consultation or before your first session.

Your session time is reserved for you; please provide us with at least 24-hours’ notice for rescheduling or cancellation to avoid a fee. Late cancellations can be charged up to 50% of original session fee and no-shows can be charged up to 100%, depending on circumstances.
